We’re excited to launch our new publication, The Transdisciplinary Journal of Management.
The Transdisciplinary Journal of Management is a vehicle for scholars, practitioners, and leaders to share original research, case studies, and other contributions that support a diverse and inclusive society of performing institutions that instill a sense of social responsibility, human dignity, and ethical management practices. The editorial team’s goal was to have this publication reflect the approach of social and management theorist, Peter F. Drucker. In his writings on management and society, Drucker drew on many disciplines, including history, science, the arts, the social sciences, and others. In its essence, a transdisciplinary approach to management involves an understanding of the human condition. How do people find meaning and worth through their work? How do people interact in organizations? How do decisions about technology or innovation impact human beings? In investigating these and other topics, our journal values articles that are interdisciplinary in nature, seeking to build meaningful connections among fields such as psychology, economics, sociology, history, the natural sciences, and others. We are also excited to feature case studies and examples of transdisciplinary management in action; what does this look like in practice?
We hope you enjoy The Transdisciplinary Journal of Management. Look for more new articles coming soon!
